Ken Zealand brings extensive experience in accounting, financial management, insolvency, restructuring, and corporate governance to Berkland Capital Holdings. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ken was a senior manager and licensed insolvency trustee with MNP LLP, where he advised organizations through complex financial and operational matters.
A Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant, Ken brings a disciplined and analytical approach to financial oversight, risk management, reporting, and strategic decision-making. His experience working with businesses and organizations facing complex financial circumstances provides him with a unique perspective on both opportunity and risk.
Ken is also deeply committed to community leadership. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Manitoba Historical Society, including as Treasurer, and has been actively involved with CJNU Nostalgia Radio and its community fundraising initiatives. He is also a Board Member for Prairie Public Broadcasting, including Past Chair and Past Treasurer.
As Chief Financial Officer of Berkland Capital Holdings, Ken is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy, reporting, controls, and governance while supporting the company’s long-term growth and investment objectives.
